As one of the main protagonists behind the so-called Mannheim sound, Nick has exploded on to the scene in 2008 with a string of releases on Cecille, 8Bit, murmur and Supernature - with the recently released ‘Dubnoise’ EP and ‘Television’, in particular, proving absolutely huge with DJ’s around the world. Not content with simply making great music, together with his friends Marc S he runs the label Cecille Records, and with DJ Gorge the label 8Bit. Nick has developed a talent as a taste-maker and overseen an amazing year for his labels as releases from the likes of Johnny D, SiS, Audiofly, Peace Division, Lemos and Kreon have propelled many of these artists on to the global stage. VERSUS:
DJ Versus (moniker of Daniel Genchev) started his djing career at the tender age of 14 playing commercial music at discos and clubs in his home town. His obsession to Hi-Fi equipment and appreciation for the quality sound were the main reasons that led to a change in his musical taste. Versus became addicted to the electronic music which fascinated him with it..s quality pumped-up sound, it..s energy and the messages it carries. What followed was a number of parties promoted by him, gigs around the whole country and abroad. After he met DJ Smooke their friendship, similar ideas and musical tastes led to the creation of their own label and promoting company called "HITEX Promotions".
